I had a "natural" birth with our first, opted for a C-Section with our second(suspected large baby), desperately wanted a "natural" birth with the third. My due date came and went, so we went ahead with a repeat C-Section (with lots of "the baby will come when its ready" advice). Baby #3 was born on January 5, 2010 with a "loose nuchal cord x1." I shutter to think how tight the "loose nuchal cord" could have gotten with a "natural" birth. 100% satisfied with our difficult decision. You have to do what is best for you and your child, no one else.Jennifer Waltonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4224963775785571380.post-16258213644249953902010-10-27T13:49:10.319+11:002010-10-27T13:49:10.319+11:00hi my name is jessica, ladies reading these posts ...hi my name is jessica, ladies reading these posts has brought tears to my eyes... i can only imagine how hard it must have been for you's!when i fell pregnant i found out i was having twins but sadly was told afew weeks later i had misscarried when seeing my doctor. than after being told i had misscarried i needed an ultrasound to see if everything had left my body, so when i got my ultrasound they had realised i had only lost one of the twins but the other survived but may be at risk.gladly i gave birth to my baby girl on the 9.9.2010 at 1:45pm and called her isabelle rose, later that day she had just had a feed and wouldnt burp than started to go purple and wasnt breathing, i had pressed the emergancy button a million times and no one came so i ran out into the hallway of the maternity ward and screamed for someone to help my baby, a nurse pulled my precious girl from my arms and took her to the doctors for resucitation and 4 minutes later she started screaming and was put on oxygen.. i belive she is my miracle baby :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4224963775785571380.post-42327221514918450152010-10-27T12:05:52.144+11:002010-10-27T12:05:52.144+11:00I so agree with everything you say.

Its thought he put pressure on it. there were some huge hospital stuff ups (4 hospitals in 2 days) and in the end, for us we ended up coming home with no baby.
Our daughter was born 2 years later (both IVF babies) and I MADE my Ob get her out at 35 weeks. She was delivered by c section. I wanted it and so did my Ob. After an emergency c section with my son and 11 IVF cycles both my Ob and I just wanted her out safe, healthy and alive.
Im so happy that both you and your friend had happy endings.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4224963775785571380.post-82866098862237087692010-10-27T11:44:25.341+11:002010-10-27T11:44:25.341+11:00Kim, I am so extremely sorry to hear about Chloe J...Kim, I am so extremely sorry to hear about Chloe Jean. It makes me realise how serious Stella's knot truly was. I cannot even begin to imagine your pain, but I guess I got a sneak peak into what it could have been like.
I was bawling my eyes out reading about Chloe, I am just so very very sorry.
I wish there was more that I could say but there are just no words.
You will always be in my thoughts now and in my heart. I h...Thank you Steph this post means so much to me. I had an emergency C-section after an induced labour. The reason the doctor gave me was failure to progress having reached only 4cm after 14 hours, thankfully Harry was never in any distress.
Often since Harry's birth I have questioned whether or not the doctor was too quick to make this decision or why didn't the midwife encourage me to have a more active birth and try different forms of pain relief rather than keeping the epidural topped up. I even blamed myself for choosing to be induced. I often find these feelings are prompted when people question me as to why I had a c-section. I even had one woman tell me it is not failure to progress but instead the doctor's failure to wait.
This post has made me find peace with Harry's birth I am sure my Ob would not have made the decision if she didn't feel it was the right one for both me and Harry.
Thank you once again.
Gemma xxUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18241744690836613930noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4224963775785571380.post-25751741891852713672010-10-26T22:52:21.197+11:002010-10-26T22:52:21.197+11:00I'm lost for words.
